As a performer, Hannah has a wealth of experience both in London and in the South West as a musical theatre performer and session vocalist and has sung with some of the biggest names in musical theatre, including John Owen Jones, Jenna Russell & Hadley Fraser, alongside working with many musicians and orchestras, including the BBC Concert Orchestra. Hannah has also featured as a soloist on Radio 2's Friday Night Is Music Night, and more recent performances include The Hired Man at Cadogan Hall.

Hannah has over ten years experience in preparing students for their singing, acting & music board exams, most notably LCM, Trinity & LAMDA - boasting a 100% pass rate with students over all grades, ranging from entry level through to diploma exams, with the large majority receiving a distinction. She also teaches a cohort of young performers and child actors and maintains relationships with a number of local and national talent agencies.

She is also experienced in working with adult singers of all ages who want to sing for fun, and children looking to take their initial steps in to voice training. She is enthusiastic, well equipped and skilled at getting beginners or less confident singers gaining real pride in their sound, and honing the technique and musicality of even the most advanced musicians.

Hannah also regularly runs workshops in a variety of subjects including Advanced Belt, Vocal Technique, Voice Acting, Acting Through Song, Performers Wellbeing and Audition Technique.

Hannah’s lessons are relaxed and positive and allow students to tackle their vocal insecurities and weak spots in an encouraging environment, building confidence alongside technical ability - improving technique through varied repertoire and an understanding of vocal structures and mechanisms.

Lessons are fun, focused and interesting and integrate voice science, acting through song, technical exercises, musicianship and repertoire work. Hannah knows singing can be a very personal and nerve wracking thing, so whilst lessons are technical and designed to show fast improvement - humour and a relaxed environment remain at their core.

Lessons come in all shapes and sizes, including 1-2-1 singing tuition, group workshops, audition coaching, acting through song seminars, repertoire consultation and speech preparation. Speech preparation guidance includes weddings, public speaking and corporate functions. Lessons can be adapted to suit your needs, whatever your level, and whatever your experience. Hannah has a full, clean, enhanced DBS check and undertakes regular child protection training and courses in safeguarding, mental health and wellbeing. Lessons can be taught in person, or online to best suit your needs.

Hannah is also a registered Vocal Health First Aid Practitioner. A Vocal Health First Aid Practitioner is certified for their understanding of vocal health and the factors that can affect vocal wellbeing. They have the practical skills to spot the signs of a range of vocal dysfunction, and the knowledge to help someone towards recovery by guiding them in practical self-management, or by passing them on to further support, whether that is specialist vocal rehabilitation coaching or clinical treatment.

Vocal health has always been at the heart of Hannah’s work, and she continues to advocate for positive change in an industry that can, so often, push singers towards exhaustion, fatigue and vocal burnout. Hannah also continues to research trauma, and what effect traumatic experiences with singing in training or unhealthy professional contracts and auditions can have, long term, on the voice and the performer as a whole.

Thanks to Hannah I can now sing repertoire I haven’t even dreamt about in years!
